LAST CHANCE TO APPLY FOR A BRITISH COUNCIL TRAVEL AWARD!

As part of our Latin American Focus, we’re working with the British Council to bring a delegation of producers and company representatives working in cross-media and interactive media innovation from across the region to Power to the Pixel: The Cross-Media Forum.

The travel awards will allow 16 producers and media professionals to participate in the Latin American Focus with the following benefits:

•Showcase the project and company to the international media industry
•Meet with leading funders and commissioners
•Form new cross-industry partnerships
•Exclusive invitations to a meeting with UK producers and funds
•Showcase the project and company in all Latin American Focus dedicated publicity in PttP’s newsletters, website, and event programmes

The British Council is offering 16 travel awards of £1,500 to the following:

•10 experienced producers with a strong track record in the sector, who apply with a project that is selected for The Pixel Market amongst 35 of the best projects from around the world.

PLEASE NOTE: participants applying with a project must also complete an additional Pixel Market application form to be eligible. Fill out your Pixel Market application here.

If your application for The Pixel Market is unsuccessful, you will still be considered for the British Council Travel Award.
•6 producers and media professionals of interactive media and cross-platform projects who will not be applying to The Pixel Market with a project but will take meetings with our project selection of 35 projects.

The 16 selected participants will attend Power to the Pixel: The Cross-Media Forum and will be showcased throughout the week as part of this year’s Latin American Focus .

To be eligible, participants must be:

•Experienced Latin American producers of innovative, interactive and cross-media projects working across any combination of media platforms or devices
•Producers must hold a valid passport from the following countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Venezuela and Uruguay
•Awardees must be able to attend Power to the Pixel: The Cross-Media Forum from 13-15 October 2015
•Awardees must arrange for their own travel to and accommodation in London
•Producers hoping to attend with a project must also apply for The Pixel Market
